This newborn session has such a cozy feel to it. The session took place right after Thanksgiving, and all the Christmas decor was up- making everything extra cozy and inviting. Baby Elijah was not sure that sleeping was on his to-do list but eventually, he gave up the fight :) His big brother Gabriel and I had bonded earlier that fall at their family photos, so he was ready to show me his drawings and read books together. I just love when kids remember me (and not for being the annoying photographer lady lol!) I love all the photos from this session, but there's something extra special about the mom in the rocking chair with the baby... I know newborn life can be anything but peaceful, but there are little moments here and there tucked in all the sleepless nights and spit-up stains that are pretty much magical. I'm here for it all :)
