I love shooting sessions of families with little ones. So many moms text me saying "I hope they do ok!" or "my two year old hates pictures" and I always assure them that inside the chaos, there is so much beauty. To be honest, I love the challenge of getting little ones to connect with me. I will usually ask the mom or dad prior to the session about what the child is currently into- Bluey, Daniel Tiger, Disney princesses... any little bits of info like that is gold for me. I also encourage the parents to bring snacks to help keep tummies full and happy and.... well, for bribery :) The best "tip" of all is just to encourage fun and allow the little ones to explore their environment. This session is full to the brim with sweet smiles and beautiful moments- all of which can be found inside the "chaos" that sometimes is family picture day :)
