One of the things I love about photography is getting to connect with new people and find out about them. In this case, I hit it off instantly with the Ramirez family because we have similar roots! We are both Louisiana natives. They moved here from the New Orleans area, and I grew up in Baton Rouge. We discussed all things Southern (mainly that we miss the food!) and had the best session. Their family dynamic was so special, and they definitely embody that special Southern charm you find down South.
For our session, we headed out to the Christmas tree farm at Eckert's in Belleville. Even if you're a fake tree person like me, you can't deny the nostalgia of a Christmas tree farm and smelling the festive pine scent. It was a great time, and we couldn't pass up the iconic red truck photo op before leaving. Definitely gave me all the Christmas feels!
