This family session was near and dear to me as it is my own relatives! I had the honor of capturing this extended family session, and it was an adventure to be both the photographer and in some of the photos as well! I loved being able to capture this special moment in time, because soon our family will be a little more spread around the country and these moments won't be quite so easy to come by. We enjoyed a beautiful backdrop at SIUE Gardens in Edwardsville. While it takes a little planning to get everyone together for a session, capturing extended family photos is such a gift to treasure in years to come. It would make a great gift for a parent or grandparent, too!
