This family was referred to me by my long-time friend and photographer who recently moved out of the area. I know there are a few difficult things- one is finding the right hairdresser and the other is finding a photographer you love! Most people stick with the same one for years and for good reason! They get to know your family and have a connection that can take a little while to develop. Well thankfully, I hit it off right away with this family, and we had an amazing session! We met up at Tower Grove Park in St. Louis and enjoyed a beautiful spring evening in late April. Even when the early spring flowers are gone, there's so much beauty in the landscape and fresh foliage here. The outfits that this mom chose for her family could not have been more perfect. You can never go wrong with a mix of earthy colors and mixing in some texture and subtle print. She definitely scored a 10/10 :) The real magic in this session was how angelic the kids were. Her daughter loves photos and that is pretty typical of girls, but her toddler boy was an angel. We were both watched in amazement at how cooperative he was throughout! That's not always the case so it was a rare but delightful surprise LOL. The other star of the show was her sweet two month old boy who was so smiley and adorable.
